Mr. Rakesh Dimri is currently serving as Project Director for RPPL, TapovanVishnugad Hydroelectric Power Project (NTPC Project), Uttarakhand.

He has more than 30 years of practical experience in the execution, construction project management, contract management, monitoring & supervision of civil works in large hydropower projects, from project conceptualization to project commissioning (comprising dams/barrages, tunnels, underground caverns, shafts, etc.,)

He is Graduate in Civil Engineering with and also an  MBA from SMU and holds a PGDCM from NICMAR. Prior to joining RPPL, he worked with the Jaypee Group and Thapar& Patel Engg. Ltd. On heavy hydropower projects from the conceptual stage to commissioning.
